About the role:
In this role, the successful candidate will work within a small team of multi-discipline professionals delivering new facilities and process equipment. Reporting to the Technical Project Lead (Faraday) this position will be focused on specific advanced manufacturing engineering requirements with key deliverables of project management and design and implementation of new Process Equipment.
Upon completion of the Faraday Project the candidate will report to Lead Process Engineer - Electrode fulfilling the requirement to support customer projects and campaigns with responsibilities including continuous improvement, customer campaign readiness, support and reporting and project management as required.

- Faraday Role
- Industrialisation of new Equipment from concept to customer handover.
- Calendering and Slitting vendor management to scope - timing, quality, and cost.
- Communication to internal stakeholders and responsibility to support technical reporting as a Process owner.
- Direct support to Production, Quality and Plant Engineering Teams with practical and theoretical guidance and instruction.
- Generate and Maintain documentation – Project progress, Action Tracking, Risk and change management, commissioning documentation, PFMEA.
- Work independently and prioritise daily activities with minimal instruction.
- Market Research to keeping abreast of battery industry progression.
- Day to Day Role following completion of Faraday Project
- Hands-on approach to working with responsibility to run equipment when required.
- Modification and continuous improvement of existing equipment; ensuring manufacturing processes remain technology relevant.
- Project Management, management of Stakeholder Expectation and Technical Reporting.
- Customer Facing - direct and indirect. Guiding, steering, and challenging expectation.
- Analysing data and driving process performance; validation and capability studies for campaign use.
- Generate and Maintain documentation – Control Plans, PFMEAs, SWIs, Stage Drawings.
