The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) operates under The Air Ambulance Service which also runs the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance, as well as the national paediatric and neonatal transfer service, the Children’s Air Ambulance, covering the whole of the UK.

The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance does not receive government or National Lottery funding for its daily missions. It relies entirely on voluntary donations and support from its local communities and business. Ian Vickers, who heads up UKBIC’s voluntary Energy Action fundraising group, said: “The team are eager to get the walk-up Snowdon underway.

WNAA is such a fantastic cause and keen to partner us in any way they can.

When the charity committee were deciding on who would be the company’s charity, it made perfect sense to support a local charity and you can’t get much more local than our neighbours on the other side of our fence.

We have many plans to support this fabulous charity in other ways in the future.

” With the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance base also in Baginton, the team at UKBIC often see the charity’s iconic yellow and grey helicopter take to the skies on lifesaving missions.
