In this session, Aishwarya Chougule, one of our CAD engineers, takes you behind the scenes of how UKBIC identified and selected the optimal cell formats for our Flexible Pilot Line (FPL).
She takes you through the different technical landscape and some of the key design considerations that eventually led to the selection of the tabless 21700 and 4695 cylindrical formats, a crucial step in defining the equipment requirements for the FPL, UKBIC’s newly opened line which is designed to offer a more agile and affordable route to market than our larger Industrial Scale‑up Line (ISL.)
